Conclusion of the contract :
The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner a deposit.
The 30% deposit is non-refundable.
We invite you to take out cancellation insurance. (for example https://www.chapkadirect.fr/ )
The balance is due no later than 15 days before your arrival.
The deposit and tourist tax are payable on arrival.

Cancellation by the customer:
TAll cancellations must be notified by letter or e-mail to the owner.
1- Cancellation more than 60 days before the arrival date: free cancellation.
2- Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before the arrival date: your deposit will be retained. At your request, your deposit may be carried over to another stay (subject to availability) to be taken within 18 months of cancellation.
3- Cancellation 30 days or less before the arrival date 100% of the price of the stay is due to us, if the owner re-rent the house for these dates, you will benefit from a credit note which can be used for another stay within 18 months. There is a charge of €30 for any change to a booking. In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation will be retained in full by the owner..

Arrival – departure.
The customer must arrive on the day and at the time specified in this contract. In the event of late arrival, the client must inform the owner.
If the client wishes to arrive a little before the scheduled time, he/she must contact the owner the day before at the latest to check whether the house can be ready before 5 pm.
However, it is preferable to arrive on time. We need time to prepare the houses before your arrival.
Departure is by 10am at the latest. Use of the premises. The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose.
In the event of an obvious lack of maintenance during the stay, an additional cleaning fee of €80 will be deducted from the deposit. End-of-stay cleaning is included in the rental price. There is no cleaning to be done before departure, just put the dishwasher on before you leave, clean the barbecue and sort the rubbish/recycling bins.

Animals:
Pets are not allowed in Tante Fine’s house.
Pets are allowed in Demeure de Vincent up to a limit of 2 individuals.

Failure by the customer to comply with these clauses constitutes a breach of contract to the exclusive detriment of the hirer, who will be required to leave immediately..

Security deposit : For all stays, the tenant pays a security deposit of 500€ on arrival.
This deposit is intended to cover any damage to furniture and objects, or any obvious lack of maintenance at the end of the stay.
It will be returned to the tenant on departure after checking the premises on the day of departure and within 8 days at the latest. .

Internet Confidence Charter
We remind you of the terms of the HADOPI law: No illegal downloading of works protected by copyright, but also no visits to sites whose content is prohibited by French law, such as pornography, paedophilia, racism, incitement to violence, offence to human dignity.
The Taker hereby undertakes to comply with the terms of the Hadopi law.
The Tenant undertakes to comply with this charter and releases the Landlord from any liability concerning the use he/she makes of the Internet, whether directly or indirectly.
The wifi access code is personal and may not be passed on.a third party without the agreement of the Landlord.

Assurances
The Tenant declares that he/she has “civil liability” insurance and “holiday” multi-risk insurance to protect himself/herself against rental risks and physical and material damage caused to others.
A copy of the insurance policy may be requested by the Lessor from the Tenant when he enters the premises.

Litige
It is expressly specified that this contract is governed by the legislation in force in France on the day it is signed.
In the event of a dispute, in the absence of an amicable settlement, exclusive jurisdiction is given to the courts of the lessor’s registered office.
